Yeah, this is a really random reason to post on dA, but this is bothering me for some reason.
I just saw a Sonic commercial where, near the end, a little boy claims that even though money doesn't grow on trees it might as well since it's made of paper. Therein lies the problem. It's not technically made of paper.
Paper is made by cutting down trees, washing the logs, grinding down the fibers to a pulp, straining it, drying it, flattening it, and heat sealing it.
American Currency is printed on finely spun COTTON. The same cotton t-shirts and jeans are made of. It also has considerable amounts of linen and silk in it(it's made of fabrics to
